Pulau Ubin (meeting point will be at Pulau Ubin assembly area)

$8 / pax

Be a part of an impactful mangrove cleanup at Pulau Ubin Mangrove Arboretum* and Sungei Puaka East mangroves, where your actions will help protect one of Singapore’s most vital ecosystems.

Collaborate with other volunteers to remove litter to protect the critical aerial root systems of our mangroves. NParks’ experienced guides will also explain how mangroves have specially adapted to survive in waterlogged, oxygen-poor soils, and why keeping these areas clean is critical for their survival.

By the end of the hands-on session, you'll understand the importance of mangrove conservation, recognise common threats to these vital habitats, and learn practical ways to reduce marine pollution in your daily life.

*Please note that participants will need to make their way to Pulau Ubin via bumboat at Changi Point Ferry Terminal. A bumboat ride to Pulau Ubin costs $4 per pax each way, totaling $8 for a round trip.
