MYMCA Urban Farm is an initiative that blends sustainability and inclusivity by training persons with disabilities (PWDs) in urban agriculture. This farm tour introduces participants to innovative urban farming techniques, sustainable food production, and eco-friendly practices, all while contributing to a meaningful social cause in the year of Singapore’s 60th birthday.
In this tour, participants will understand how fresh produce is cultivated in a city setting, engage in sowing, planting, and sustainable farming techniques, and discover practical ways to incorporate sustainability into daily life, together with our PWDs.
Plus, bring home 200g of organic vegetables per harvest, together with insights into urban farming, sustainability, and inclusive employment!
This activity is suitable for persons with disabilities and youths. As stair climbing is involved, this activity is not suitable for wheelchair users.
