Come discover how Singapore fights dengue in a unique way at NEA's Mosquito Production Facility!

Here, you’ll see how special male mosquitoes are bred to help reduce dengue cases in our neighbourhoods. Watch how scientists work with these tiny helpers that carry Wolbachia bacteria – when these male mosquitoes mate with female ones in the wild, their eggs don't hatch. This natural method helps control the mosquito population without using chemicals.

During your visit, you’ll get to see the breeding rooms and learn how these mosquitoes are prepared before being released. It’s an amazing chance to see science in action and understand how Singapore is using smart solutions to keep us safe from dengue.
