Wings of Art reimagines discarded materials, transforming them into a 60-metre Barbie Runway brought to life with pathways and bridges made from upcycled wine crates and filled with paper blooms handcrafted by the community.
To commemorate SG60, the event will showcase 60 intricately crafted winged Barbie dolls by 60 Singaporean artists. Visitors will be invited to create their own winged Barbie dolls using repurposed materials and take a butterfly portraiture. The dolls will be gifted to underprivileged children.
A donation is required for some activities. 100% of proceeds support education and mentorship for underprivileged children. Donations are 250% tax deductible. The event will run from 24 Jun to 1 Jul.
