Nestled in Bidadari estate, this multifunctional system not only prevents downstream flooding but also transforms into a serene recreational space during dry weather.
When visiting Alkaff Lake, you will see part of the Bidadari Park, which features a landscape with hills, a boardwalk through marshlands, and a rain tree "island" within the lake. The park, developed by HDB, NParks, PUB, and NHB, covers 10 hectares — equivalent to about 15 football fields.
This one-hour tour is facilitated by trained volunteer docents from ST Microelectronics (ST).
