Spend your Father’s Day Weekend giving back to nature with the SUSS Sustainability Student Committee at Coney Island! This litter-picking activity aims to keep Singapore’s green spaces clean while raising awareness about environmental conservation.

Participants will learn about the types of litter commonly found on our shores, proper waste disposal practices, and the importance of using designated recycling bins. As you pick up trash along the trails, you’ll also explore Coney Island’s rich biodiversity, home to unique flora and fauna that thrive in this protected habitat.

Gain a deeper understanding of Singapore’s waste management efforts, the impact of litter on ecosystems, and how small sustainable habits can create a big positive difference.
