The Youth4Climate (Y4C) Festival is City Developments Limited (CDL)’s flagship youth environmental outreach programme that empowers young people to take climate action and support Singapore’s sustainability goals. Now in its 9th edition, the festival continues to engage youths and the wider community in accelerating climate action in support of Go Green SG.
This year’s festival focuses on the theme of glaciers and climate change, highlighting the vital role glaciers play in regulating the Earth’s climate and water systems, and the urgent need to protect fragile ecosystems affected by global warming.
The programme features sustainability workshops, youth-led activities, and an Eco Marketplace. Expect to see booths by Zero Waste SG, BeetleBuds, Stridy, SUSFeed, and many more! As part of the festival, special movie screenings will explore themes of nature conservation, respect for wildlife, and humanity’s relationship with the natural world—encouraging youths to reflect on environmental stewardship and the impacts of climate change.
Through these engaging activities and partnerships, the Y4C Festival aims to inspire the next generation to champion sustainability and contribute to a more resilient and sustainable future.
