Participants will embark on an intertidal journey designed to spark a deeper appreciation for our coastal ecosystems and inspire active stewardship of nature. Step into a fascinating underwater world and discover the diverse marine life that inhabits our shores, from echinoderms and crustaceans to bivalves and fish.
As participants move carefully across seagrass meadows, they will observe hermit crabs scurrying along the sand, their borrowed shells offering protection from predators. Through guided observation and an introduction to basic coastal ecology, participants will gain insight into the behaviours and relationships of these often-overlooked marine creatures.
