In celebration of World Soil Day 2025, Living Soil Asia and its partners are hosting the first soil painting competition in Singapore to raise awareness on the importance of caring for the soil in our environment.
Submissions are open online from 15 Jun to 15 Sep. Selected works will be exhibited as part of a soil festival in December 2025.
Living Soil Asia will also be organising four workshops, titled A Pinch of Soil, in conjunction with this competition. Through the workshops, you will be able to explore neighbourhoods in Singapore and learn to create soil pigments. As Singapore celebrates SG60, learn about the history of Singapore’s soil and stories of the land in which our homes are built upon.
