Construct a mini aquaponics system and embark on a guided tour of a rooftop aquaponics farm. By exploring various setups, from small-scale home systems to large commercial operations, you’ll gain insights into design considerations, plant and fish species selection, and ecosystem management. Explore a herbal garden and learn about regional herbs with medicinal or therapeutic properties and their cultivation and usage.
This workshop will equip you with the skills to begin a journey into aquaponics and deepen your understanding of sustainable farming practices. Whether you are interested in sustainable agriculture or simply eager to grow your own produce, this workshop caters to a diverse range of enthusiasts and beginners.
The workshop and tour is open to participants aged 18 and above and to seniors able to move around on their own.
