What does it take to be a Marine Scientist?
Get your water shoes and magnifying glass ready to observe the plants and animals. Join Young Nautilus on a day camp by our coastal areas and roleplay as a family of “Marine Scientists”! Explore our local biodiversity, discover the mysteries of squids in a dissection* class, and get your hands dirty in a beach cleanup to protect the nature in our backyard.
Participants will understand the vital role squids play in the marine food web and explore sustainable seafood practices and conservation efforts that mitigate the pressing issue of overfishing and the effects of pollution on marine ecosystems.
In conjunction with SG60, also get to know some future-looking environmental solutions that Singapore is employing!
