Visit the Fuchun Primary School booth at the Woodgrove Constituency World Environment Day event to receive a complimentary Fruit Peel Multi-Purpose Cleaning Solution DIY Kit, crafted by students.

The DIY Kit includes a reused plastic bottle containing sugar and orange peels and an information sheet. Bring the kit home, add water, and allow the mixture to ferment for 3 months – the cleaning solution is then ready to be used!

This initiative began when students from Fuchun Primary School noticed significant mandarin orange peel waste during Chinese New Year celebrations. Students then created an eco-enzyme cleaning solution using fruit peels collected from teachers and canteen vendors. The solution has multiple applications, including surface cleaning, soil fertilisation and air purification.

This chemical-free, handmade cleaning solution reduces waste and expenses whilst providing an environmentally friendly alternative to commercial cleaning products.
