Caffeine Glow Workshop (Fernvale)

Give your morning brew a second life at our Coffee Scrub Workshop! This activity focuses on reducing food wastage by transforming common hawker center remnants into valuable personal care products.

Participants will explore the concept of upcycling through a practical demonstration on how to repurpose used coffee grounds into a natural, invigorating coffee scrub. It is a wonderful opportunity for anyone looking to bridge the gap between local dining culture and eco-friendly living.

Note: We require participants to bring their own containers.

Beyond that, visit the roving exhibition designed by Fraction Design Studio that will travel across all eight hawker centres delivering bite-sized insights on food and packaging waste management to the heart of the community. The exhibition is designed using recyclable cardboard. This ensures the display is as eco-friendly as the message it shares, using modular parts to keep waste to a minimum.
