The Cross Island Line (CRL) will be Singapore’s eighth and longest MRT line, designed to enhance the city’s transport network. But did you know that this line will also pass through some of Singapore’s ecologically sensitive areas?
To minimise the environmental impact during construction, Obayashi Corporation and Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co (Singapore) (STECS) have established the CR202 Biodiversity Centre (BTC) to train their staff, workers and subcontractors.
Now, you can get an exclusive look at this project through guided tours at the BTC as part of the Go Green SG movement. Discover the environmental mitigation measures and initiatives put in place and how Singapore is leading the way in balancing nature conservation with urban development. In conjunction with SG60, you will also learn about Singapore’s public transport journey and why the CRL is being built.Organised by
