Step into the role of a marine scientist for a day and discover what it takes to study and protect our coastal environments. This family-friendly day camp invites children and adults to explore Singapore’s rich marine biodiversity through guided, hands-on activities by the shore.
Spend time observing coastal plants and animals up close, using simple field tools to better understand how these ecosystems function. Take part in a squid dissection session, where you will learn about anatomy and adaptation in a structured and approachable way. The experience also includes a beach clean-up activity, offering a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the care of our shared coastal spaces.
Designed as a shared learning experience, the programme encourages curiosity, observation, and conversation between children and adults. It offers a practical glimpse into the work of marine scientists while fostering a deeper appreciation for the natural world around us.
Participants are encouraged to come prepared with water shoes and a sense of curiosity. Suitable for children aged 6 and above, with parents and adults welcome to join in for a relaxed and enriching family experience.
