Suitable for families, nature lovers, and adventure seekers, this 4-hour programme combines a 3-hour guided cycling tour with a 1-hour kayaking session across the scenic St John’s and Lazarus Islands.
Participants will discover diverse ecosystems, from sandy shores to mangroves, learn about conservation and research efforts at Bendera Bay at St John’s Island, and gain insights into the history of the Southern Islands.
Participants will also have the option to take part in a beach clean-up, offering a simple yet meaningful way to support the conservation of the islands’ natural environment.
Getting Ready for Your Adventure
- Kid-Friendly: This activity is suitable for children over 7 years old. Children should be between 120cm to 135cm tall to use a kid-sized bike.
- Fitness Requirement: Participants should be reasonably fit to enjoy outdoor activities such as cycling, walking, and kayaking. Prior swimming and kayaking experience not required.
- Cycling Level: Recommended for confident cyclists.
- Kayaking Level: Beginner-friendly. Paddling instructions, equipment (including life vests) and safety briefing are provided
