Sustainability should be for everyone, but barriers like cost, complexity, and exclusivity often make it feel out of reach. This interactive workshop breaks down those barriers, equipping participants with tools to make sustainability more accessible and inclusive.

In the workshop, participants will start by writing their own definitions and examples of inaccessibility in sustainability on post-it notes within their groups. These will be categorised into broad themes to set the tone for the session. Participants will then share these with other groups, and at the end of the workshop, commit to how they will work towards making sustainability more accessible in their own fields or communities.

This workshop is perfect for individuals passionate about sustainability who want to ensure that climate action and green initiatives are accessible to everyone. Whether you are a student, professional, or community advocate, this session will help you think critically about the real-world barriers people face and how to address them in practical ways. Participants will also get the chance to connect with like-minded individuals and gain insights from diverse perspectives.
