Take part in this immersive learning journey to Ento Industries to check out its Black Soldier Fly (BSF) facility.
Participants will discover how 3,000 to 5,000 kg of food waste are transformed daily using BSF technology into valuable resources like fertiliser and animal feed.
During the guided tour, participants will gain insights into Singapore’s food waste challenges, explore why managing waste is complex, and see firsthand how BSF provides a nature-based solution. They will observe live larvae, learn about their lifecycle, and follow food waste as it moves through the different stages of the circular system.
Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of circular economy practices, practical strategies to reduce food waste, and inspiration to contribute to a greener future in their community. Participants will bring home their own potted plant as a living reminder that waste can be turned into new forms.
