Phytoplankton are crucial to aquatic ecosystems. They produce over 50% of the world’s oxygen and help absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
Understanding their role can unlock solutions to major environmental challenges like pollution, harmful algal blooms, and climate change.
In this talk, Dr Maxine Mowe will share how phytoplankton growth and production could be key to boosting global carbon capture and protecting water resources for the future.
This session will be conducted via Zoom. Link will be provided after registration .
